# Onboarding, Training & Mentoring

Joining an aggregator is the straightforward part; getting a first compliant file across the line is where new brokers actually get stuck. This section covers everything that happens after you sign — how induction runs, what mentoring provides and for how long, the ten steps a deal moves through from first call to settlement, and the file standards your work will be measured against. Mentoring is required under MFAA and FBAA membership standards and the licensee's supervision obligations, so these pages describe an arrangement you will be part of rather than an optional extra you can decline.
