Application Instructions
Surface Preparation
All concrete surfaces must be prepared in accordance with the relevant Fosroc Polyurea WHE110 or WPE110 technical data sheet requirements prior to primer application.
Application Method
- Prime the prepared substrate with Nitoprime 320PU after surface preparation
- Apply at the suggested rate of 150 g/m² for concrete substrates
- Broadcast fire-dried sand is recommended for optimum adhesion properties
- Allow the primer to become tack-free before applying the subsequent Fosroc Polyurea system

Equipment Cleaning

Storage Requirements
Shelf Life
Nitoprime 320PU has a shelf life of 18 months from the date of manufacture when stored under proper conditions.
Storage Conditions
- Recommended Temperature Range: 20-30°C
- Storage Environment: Keep containers properly closed and stored indoors in a well-ventilated area under normal factory conditions
- Temperature Limitations: Storage above 50°C is not recommended, as elevated temperatures can accelerate formation of insoluble solids and increase viscosity increase during extended storage
Partial Container Storage
For partially used containers, Fosroc recommends:
- Dry nitrogen purging to prolong storage stability and prevent contamination from moist air or water
- Container Transfer: Preferably transfer part-used material into smaller containers filled to maximum volume and purge with dry nitrogen for optimal storage stability
- Sealed Storage: Preferably use full drums to avoid part-filled drums being contaminated with moist air or water
Critical Warning: If containers come into contact with moist air or water, the drums should not be resealed. Reaction with water leads to gas evolution, potentially causing dangerous pressure buildup.
