Composition
Form Release Agent is formulated using a light, clear hydrocarbon carrier as its base component. This specialized formulation allows the product to react with the free lime present in concrete to produce a protective soap-like film.
Technical Mechanism
When applied to formwork surfaces, Form Release Agent reacts with the free lime in concrete to create a soap-like protective film. This film serves a critical function: it allows trapped air and free water to escape during vibration, thereby minimizing surface voids on the finished concrete surface. Coverage Rates
Coverage rates vary depending on the porosity characteristics of the formwork surface being treated:
