These terms cover use of this website, appointments and fees, and the status of past promotional offers.

Website terms of use

The content of this website has been prepared carefully, but Me Clinic disclaims all warranties, express or implied, as to the accuracy of the information in it. The information here is general and indicative only, and is not a substitute for proper medical advice from a practitioner who has examined you.

Indicative prices, treatment descriptions, recovery times and timeframes on this site are general guidance. What applies to you is determined at consultation and confirmed in a written quote.

Me Clinic makes no warranty that this website will be uninterrupted or error free, and shall not be liable for any losses or damages (including without limitation consequential loss or damage) arising from the use of, or reliance on, information on this website, or from use of the internet generally.

This website contains content intended for people aged 18 and over.

Links to external sites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Before and after images

Images on this site are of genuine Me Clinic patients, used with their documented consent, and are not retouched to enhance or alter a result - any editing is limited to protecting patient privacy. Each set represents one person's experience, and results may vary between individuals.

Required statement

Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.

Appointments and fees

• Consultation fees are payable at the time of the appointment.
• Fees quoted on this site are indicative, include GST, and are current as at September 2024. Fees change; the fee that applies is the one confirmed when you book.
• Procedure costs are confirmed in a written quote after consultation.
• Me Clinic is not a no-gap provider. Where Medicare item numbers apply, you are told which ones and the expected out-of-pocket cost.
• Please give as much notice as possible if you need to change or cancel an appointment, so the time can be offered to someone else. Cancellation terms are advised when you book.
• Suitability for any procedure is determined by the practitioner at consultation. A practitioner may decline to proceed where a procedure is not appropriate for you.

Before booking cosmetic surgery

Since 1 July 2023, cosmetic surgery in Australia requires a referral before your first consultation, screening for underlying psychological conditions, and at least two consultations before surgery is booked. See cosmetic surgery rule changes.

Past promotional offers

All promotional offers previously advertised by Me Clinic have expired and are no longer available. This includes offers run during 2023 and 2024 covering introductory consultations, vein consultations, skin programs and seasonal promotions.

The terms of those offers are retained as a record. They applied only within their stated booking and attendance periods, which have passed. No current offer should be inferred from them.

Terms common to those past offers, for the record:

• Offers applied at Me Clinic, Malvern East only
• Registration was required to be eligible
• Bookings had to be made and attended within stated dates
• Selected appointment times applied; some times were excluded
• Offers were not transferable without permission from Me Clinic
• Offers were not convertible to cash or to any other service or product, and could not be used with any other offer
• Consultation time under an offer was limited as stated in that offer
• Additional consultation time was charged at the usual rate
• Surgery or treatment is not suitable for all patients; practitioners reserved the right to determine suitability at consultation

If any future offer is made, its own terms will be published here. Under the Medical Board of Australia's advertising guidelines, discounts must not be offered without their terms and conditions being stated.

Complaints

Concerns about a registered health practitioner can also be raised with AHPRA, and in Victoria with the Health Complaints Commissioner. Privacy complaints can be taken to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Nothing in them excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
