The later Tuesday and Thursday finishes and the Saturday morning exist so appointments can be made outside working hours.

Getting here

Malvern East is roughly 10km south-east of the Melbourne CBD. Burke Road is a major north-south road through the eastern suburbs.

The clinic is accessible by car, and by public transport via the Glen Waverley and Frankston train lines and the Burke Road tram and bus routes. Check the current timetable and stop at ptv.vic.gov.au.

What happens at this clinic

All initial and follow-up consultations, with Specialist Plastic Surgeons and Cosmetic Doctors
Non-surgical treatments - injectables, thread lifts, laser, needling, peels, LED
Minor procedures under local anaesthetic - mole and lesion removal, excisions
Vein assessment and treatment, including ultrasound-guided procedures
Skin assessments and skincare consultations
Post-operative review and aftercare

Where surgery is performed

Surgical procedures requiring general anaesthetic or sedation are performed at accredited Melbourne day facilities and private hospitals rather than at the clinic. Eyelid surgery is performed at Glenferrie Private Hospital or Masada Private Hospital.

You are told before booking exactly where your procedure will take place, who will perform it, and who administers the anaesthetic.

Your first visit

Bring your referral if you are consulting about cosmetic surgery - it has been required since 1 July 2023
Bring a list of your medications, including supplements, and your medical history
Bring your Medicare card
Allow time - a first consultation is not a five-minute appointment
Write down your questions beforehand; people forget them in the room
Bring someone with you if it helps

Consultation fees

As at September 2024, including GST: Specialist Plastic Surgeon $350, Cosmetic Doctor $150, vein consultation $230, skin assessment $50, mole removal consultation $150.

Me Clinic is not a no-gap provider. Where Medicare item numbers apply, you are told which ones and what the expected out-of-pocket cost is.

Coming from further away

We see patients from across Victoria and interstate. If travel is involved, plan for the review appointments as well as the procedure - aftercare is not optional, and you should not be flying or driving long distances immediately after surgery. Call us and we will work out a realistic schedule before you book anything.
