This is also outlined in the Paris Agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why is lithium metal production important to achieving net zero?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To achieve net zero we need to both cut down on carbon emissions and develop better processes for removing emissions from the atmosphere. In order to achieve a reduction in carbon emissions, the use of lithium metal is already proving essential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Electric vehicles, home energy storage batteries, mobility scooters, e-bikes, mobile phones, laptops \u2013 all of these items can be powered by lithium metal batteries, in some cases sparing fossil fuels from being used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Lithium metal allows for more efficient use of renewable energy<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By replacing fossil fuels with renewable energy, homes and businesses can significantly reduce their carbon footprint, helping the world achieve net zero on an individual level.
