How are we extracting lithium metal?

For a decarbonised and sustainable world we need to rethink everything for energy efficiency and circular economy.

It is no longer acceptable to create the end products needed for decarbonisation via a toxic production process.

Lithium metal is currently produced via electrolysis of its chloride, the same way that sodium metal is produced.

We are developing the most energy and cost efficient path to produce lithium metal – carbothermic reduction.
