A clinician looks at what the participant wants to do, the barriers they experience, their strengths and the environments where daily life happens. Assessment findings then guide therapy, capacity building, strategies, reports or recommendations.
You do not need to know the clinical terminology before contacting Bloom. Start with the everyday activity, change or goal.
What NDIS allied health actually isEvidence-informed support for function, participation and wellbeing.
The right service depends on the participant—not a diagnosis alone. Bloom connects clinical reasoning with meaningful outcomes at home, school, work and in the community.

Assessment identifies abilities, barriers, risks, environments and the support already working well.
2Build everyday capacity
Therapy and strategies focus on skills and routines that matter to the participant.
3Make practical recommendations

Common questionsAnswers before you refer.
Clear expectations help participants and referrers decide whether Bloom is the right next step.
Is Bloom Healthcare a registered NDIS provider?
Yes. Bloom Healthcare is an NDIS-registered provider. Registration does not automatically mean every requested service is funded; the support must align with the participant’s plan, goals and current NDIS requirements.
Does Bloom support children and adults?
Yes. Bloom provides allied health services for children, teenagers and adults. The most appropriate clinician and approach depend on age, goals, needs, location and availability.
Do I need a referral?
You can contact Bloom directly. A support coordinator, family member, treating professional or other referrer can also enquire with the participant’s consent. We clarify any plan, funding or documentation requirements before services begin.
Where are services delivered?
Depending on clinical suitability and availability, services may take place at home, school, in the community, by telehealth or in a Bloom consultation room. Confirm availability before travelling.
Can I use my NDIS plan for Bloom services?
That depends on the participant’s plan, goals, funding management and requested support. Bloom can discuss the proposed service, but the participant or plan decision-maker remains responsible for confirming that funding can be used.
Can Bloom provide more than one discipline?
Potentially. With consent and appropriate funding, Bloom clinicians can coordinate when this supports the participant’s goals. Each discipline still completes its own assessment and clinical reasoning.
How quickly can an appointment begin?
Availability varies by service, postcode, appointment setting and clinician capacity. Sharing the postcode, discipline, goals and relevant timing helps the team provide a useful answer.
