Which treatments does Prof Chronopoulos focus on?
- Aesthetic full mouth reconstruction: rebuilding most or all of the teeth to improve how they work and look.
- Veneers: thin layers of porcelain or composite bonded to the front of teeth.
- Restoring worn teeth: rebuilding teeth that have lost structure through grinding, erosion or age.
- All-ceramic crowns and minimally invasive restorations: restorations designed to keep as much natural tooth as possible.
- Implants: from single implants to full-arch implant-supported restorations, sometimes called all-on-four.
- Snoring and sleep apnoea: dental management, which can include a custom-made appliance worn at night.
Our prosthodontics page explains these treatments in more detail.
Why do teeth become worn, and what can be done?
Teeth can wear from clenching or grinding, from acid in food, drinks or reflux, or simply over many years. As they wear they may become shorter, sensitive or chipped, and the bite can change. Treatment depends on the cause and extent of wear, and can range from protecting the teeth with a night splint to rebuilding them with bonded restorations or crowns. Prof Chronopoulos will explain the options, their limitations and maintenance needs after an assessment.

Frequently asked questions
Can a prosthodontist help with snoring?
Prof Chronopoulos provides dental management of snoring and sleep apnoea. This often involves an oral appliance made to fit your teeth and worn while you sleep. Sleep apnoea is a medical condition, so it is generally diagnosed through a doctor or sleep study, and dental treatment is planned alongside that medical advice.
What does minimally invasive mean for a restoration?
It means removing as little healthy tooth as possible while still restoring strength and appearance. Bonded ceramic restorations, for example, can sometimes cover a damaged area without shaping the whole tooth. Whether this approach is suitable depends on how much tooth remains and how you bite.
Is a referral required to see Prof Chronopoulos?
Our published guidance is that a referral is not needed to see our specialists. Please bring any recent X-rays or notes from your dentist, as they help with assessment and planning.
How are fees for a full mouth reconstruction set?
Fees depend on the number of teeth involved, the materials and whether implants are needed. You receive a written estimate after your assessment. Payment plans through Payright, TLC and Supercare may be available, subject to each provider's eligibility criteria.
