Licences, compliance and published documents

This page brings together Natloans’ published compliance statements and the five documents linked from its licences and compliance page. It records what the website stated when captured on 15 October 2026; it is not a regulator’s certification of current licence status, professional memberships or the completion of internal audits.

Published licence statement and entity identity

The source page publishes Australian Credit Licence number 386297 and describes the business as holding a current licence. The regulator’s correct name is the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).

The wording needs to be read alongside the entity disclosures. Natloans’ Terms of Use identifies Natloans Finance & Leasing Pty Ltd (ABN 39 153 007 240) as a credit representative of Saccasan Pty Ltd, the holder of ACL 386297. The public privacy page uses a different entity line. This enriched page does not resolve that inconsistency or substitute a trading name for a verified licence holder. Confirm the exact legal entity and authorisation relevant to your service against the current Credit Guide and ASIC register.

Does every broker have to hold its own licence?

No. ASIC explains that people engaging in regulated credit activities generally need a credit licence or appropriate authorisation from a licensee, subject to the applicable rules and exemptions. A representative can operate on behalf of a licensee. The original page’s blanket statement that every such business must itself hold a licence is therefore too broad.

ASIC: Do you need a credit licence? (checked 15 October 2026). Check the legal entity, licence or representative number, permitted activities and current register status rather than relying on a website badge alone.

How Natloans describes its compliance approach

The published page says its compliance work spans corporate governance, legislation and regulations. It describes regular audits of internal policies and processes and ongoing professional development for finance staff. It also states that loan writers are registered credit professionals and refers to FBAA and MFAA membership.

These are Natloans’ published commitments and membership claims. The source does not supply completed audit reports, staff training records or independent current membership checks. They should not be read as proof that every service or transaction has been separately certified compliant.

Published document library

These are the five links and categories supplied by the source. The dates in filenames and labels identify the published resources, but are not proof that a document is the latest version. Read the document itself and obtain clarification before relying on or signing it.

Complaints and external dispute resolution

The original compliance page refers to Credit Ombudsman Service Limited. That is legacy terminology and is not treated here as verification of current membership or an instruction to use an obsolete service. Consult the published complaints page and AFCA for the applicable current external complaint pathway. Confirm the financial firm’s correct legal name when making an enquiry.

The complaints source has its own historical wording and limitations. Published policy text does not independently establish current internal ownership, escalation practice or completion of an annual review. Ask Natloans for clarification if the document and live instructions differ.

Common questions

Has this page independently verified ACL 386297?

No. It preserves the published number and explains how to check it. Use ASIC Connect Professional Registers and the current Credit Guide to confirm the holder, representative relationship and status.

Does a credit licence guarantee approval or a particular outcome?

No. A licence or authorisation identifies a regulatory permission; it is not a loan offer or guarantee of suitability, approval, rates or service results.

Which privacy or credit guide should I read?

Start with the document Natloans supplies for your actual service and legal entity. The source lists separate general, asset-finance and two home-finance documents. Ask which applies before consenting; this directory does not choose or sign one for you.

Does the page prove current FBAA or MFAA membership?

No. It records Natloans’ published claims, without an independent current membership verification.

Where can I raise a question?

Use Natloans’ contact page. For a complaint, use the published complaints process and the relevant current external scheme. Keep the document version and correspondence relevant to your matter.
