Expanding Our Reach - Building for the Future

At Grace Daycare and Primary School, our commitment to nurturing and educating children extends beyond the traditional classroom. In the heart of Nanga, near Nakifuma trading centre, Mukono District, Uganda, we are embarking on an ambitious project to expand our facilities to accommodate the growing number of students. Our current project, the construction of two new classrooms, is not just about building walls; it’s about creating spaces where children can dream, learn, and thrive.

The Need for Expansion

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve seen an unprecedented increase in enrollment. Our student body has doubled, stretching our resources and space to their limits. Teachers are currently conducting classes under mango trees – a testament to our commitment but a clear signal of the urgent need for expansion.

Construction of Two Classrooms

Project Overview

The new addition will be a 40ft by 15ft block, housing two classrooms of 20ft x 15ft each. This expansion will provide a conducive learning environment for over 300 students, moving us from makeshift outdoor classrooms to a more stable and secure learning environment.
