Hot water pressure cleaning uses heated water, typically between 60°C and 80°C, delivered at high pressure through professional spray equipment. Our truck-mounted units heat water on-site using diesel-fired burners, so we do not rely on the property’s hot water supply.

At 80°C and 4,000 PSI, our systems deliver cleaning power that cold water units simply cannot match, regardless of how much pressure they generate.

Why Hot Water Beats Cold Water Every Time

Oil and Grease Removal

This is where the difference is most dramatic. Cold water displaces oil temporarily. It pushes it to the edges and it returns within days. Hot water breaks the molecular bond between oil and the surface, lifting it permanently.

Think about washing dishes. Greasy plates in cold water stay greasy no matter how hard you scrub. Add hot water and the grease dissolves instantly. The same principle applies to industrial oil stains, car park drips, loading dock contamination, and kitchen exhaust residue.

Mould, Algae, and Biological Growth

Cold water removes visible mould and algae but leaves the root system (mycelium) alive in the pores of the surface. Within weeks, the growth returns. Hot water at 80°C kills biological growth on contact, down to the root. This means surfaces stay cleaner for longer between cleans.
