Built for people running businesses

We bring founders, business owners, operators and senior decision-makers together to discuss AI through the work of an organisation. The emphasis is on what a deployment requires and what it changes: the cost, the workflow, the people involved and the result.

We use a one-stage format. Attendees hear a shared programme of talks and conversations, with networking around it. A team can use that shared experience to compare perspectives across operations, marketing, technology and leadership. A technical background is not required to follow the business discussion.

The format gives space to both ambition and implementation. A new capability may open an opportunity, but a business still has to understand the process it will affect, the resources required and how to evaluate the result. Those are useful questions to bring to Dallas as its programme develops.

Past voices behind our series

Our 2026 Australian events brought together voices including Toby Walsh, Scientia Professor of AI at UNSW; Clayton Cross, CEO and Founder of Ellipsis Mining; Jack Bear, Founder of Norg AI; Kate Save, CEO of Be Fit Food and MC/host; and Richard Welch MP, associated with discussion of AI policy and the digital economy.

That combination illustrates our series' breadth, from research and public policy to company-building and operations. It is a record of past participation. We'll announce our Dallas speakers, individual talks and session times separately.

Public material from completed events

We held our Australian events at Melbourne Town Hall on 14 May 2026 and Sydney Town Hall on 23 July 2026. Our Sydney film and photographs take you inside that earlier programme and room.

The speaker deck collection gives more detail about the substance. In AI is no longer a tool, it is an operating advantage, Clayton Cross examines the operating layer, token economics and how different tasks can use different models. The Next Era of Enterprise AI, by John McGiffin, covers a maturity model, a roadmap and the challenge of getting pilots into production. Winning in an Agent Economy, by Jack Bear, examines customer discovery when agents search on a person's behalf.

The collection is a way to assess our series before Dallas booking opens. Its three presentations were shared with the speakers' permission and remain their copyright. Our download page unlocks them after an email entry and offers optional feedback.

Choosing a waitlist and planning attendance

Regular, Premium and VIP are currently expressions of ticket preference. The Dallas release will explain prices, seating and additional access. An expression of interest is separate from a completed ticket purchase, so keep the eventual booking confirmation for your event arrangements.

We haven't announced our Dallas runtime yet. Plan around the confirmed date and wait for our local schedule before relying on a particular finish time. Venue directions are available from the city page. Send accessibility or attendance questions to team@opensummit.ai, identifying Dallas and 8 April 2027.

For team attendance, it can help to agree on a business problem before the event. A team reviewing an AI pilot might focus on what it takes to run it reliably in daily operations. A customer-facing team might focus on how AI affects search and discovery. Those questions can guide what you take from the talks and whom you meet afterwards.

Join the tour or participate as a partner

The community partnership programme is open to groups such as meetups, educators, accelerators and industry bodies. Allocations and participation details are agreed for each city. Companies interested in exhibiting or sponsorship can contact us with Dallas as their preferred event.

We celebrate our 2026 Australian season partners in our partner section and will announce upcoming city partnerships separately. Join the Dallas waitlist for local booking and programme updates, or compare the announced Chicago and New York dates.
