A business conversation about AI

We build our programme around the questions that follow an AI idea: what it costs, how it fits an operation, what results it produces and where a business should put its attention next. We combine research perspectives with the experience of people building and running businesses.

Our one-stage format gives you a shared programme. There are no parallel tracks in the core format, so colleagues can hear the same material and compare what it means for their responsibilities. The audience includes people making commercial and operational decisions; a development background is not required.

For a business evaluating AI, the useful questions often cut across roles. An operations leader may be looking at a workflow, a marketing leader at discovery and a founder at the investment case. The shared format gives those perspectives a place in the same conversation. The specific Chicago sessions will be announced with the local programme.

Our series' past speakers

Our 2026 Australian events featured Toby Walsh, Scientia Professor of AI at UNSW; Clayton Cross, CEO and Founder of Ellipsis Mining; Jack Bear, Founder of Norg AI; Kate Save, CEO of Be Fit Food and MC/host; and Richard Welch MP, whose past contribution concerned AI policy and the digital economy.

These past appearances bring together research, investment, implementation, entrepreneurship and policy. We'll announce our Chicago line-up separately.

Examine the content before booking opens

We held our Australian events at Melbourne Town Hall in May 2026 and Sydney Town Hall in July 2026. Watch our Sydney event film and explore photographs from those events.

For a closer look at the subject matter, the Sydney 2026 deck library contains three presentations. Clayton Cross's deck looks at the operating advantage around AI, including model costs and task-based routing. John McGiffin's considers enterprise maturity and the transition from pilots into production. Jack Bear's explores business discovery when agents do the searching.

These materials are useful examples of our series' approach. You can explore the topics directly while we develop our Chicago programme. Enter your email to unlock the decks, and share feedback afterwards if you'd like.

Planning for Chicago

We've announced our Chicago date and venue, and will share doors time, finish time and runtime with the local programme. Please wait for our Chicago run sheet before planning around a specific arrival or departure time.

The waitlist lets you indicate interest in Regular, Premium or VIP. Exact seating, guest arrangements and additional access will be defined by the Chicago ticket release. Prices and promotions from New York or Australia do not establish Chicago entitlements.

You can prepare by identifying a business decision you want to examine at the event. Bring questions about the requirements of implementation, the costs of a workflow or a change in customer behaviour. If colleagues plan to attend, agree on the questions you want to explore together.

Participate in the Chicago conversation

For a company partnership, exhibition enquiry or organised community, contact us and specify Chicago. Community partnerships are agreed city by city, including any allocation and participation details.

Our partner wall recognises organisations from our 2026 Australian season. We'll announce Chicago partnerships separately.

Join a Chicago ticket waitlist for the release, or explore New York and Dallas for the other announced United States dates.
