Join us at Brisbane City Hall for an afternoon with founders, business owners, operators and senior decision-makers working out where AI belongs in their business. We bring talks, an operators' panel and networking together around one shared stage programme.

We're welcoming Dr Khizer Khaderi, Julian Fayad and Jeremy Cabral to our Brisbane programme. Their backgrounds bring human perception research, fintech operations and AI search into the conversation. We'll also announce our Australian Open Summit AI Awards winners at Brisbane City Hall that day.

Three hours on stage, with time around the programme

Doors open at 11am for registration, networking and partner exhibits. The main programme runs from noon until 3pm, giving the afternoon a three-hour stage runtime. Plan to arrive before noon if you want time to check in and meet other attendees before the talks.

We've set out our main themes below and will share the complete session schedule as it develops. Evening access depends on the activity and ticket arrangements. From AI investment to everyday operations

The afternoon outline includes Where Capital Meets Code, Getting Found in the Age of AI, Operators on the Front Line, and What Comes Next, and How to Be Ready.

Those themes connect several decisions a business has to make. Capital allocation concerns the resources committed to AI. Customer discovery concerns how the business appears when people search with AI tools. Implementation concerns the systems, workflows and people that make an idea useful in practice. The programme brings those subjects into the same room so attendees can consider their relationship.

The format is accessible to business leaders without a development background. You can come with questions about a process, a budget or a customer experience. Hearing the same programme as colleagues also makes it easier to discuss a possible next step together afterwards.

New voices announced for Brisbane

Dr Khizer Khaderi is the Founder and Director of Stanford's Human Perception Lab and a Stanford HAI faculty affiliate. His work covers AI, spatial computing and human performance. That work brings a perspective on the relationship between technology and the people who experience it.

Julian Fayad is Founder and CEO of LoanOptions.ai, the Australian fintech he bootstrapped in 2020. His background combines more than a decade as a finance broker with self-taught software development. His work simplifies loan applications, and the business has been recognised in the Deloitte Tech Fast 50. He also hosts the Lost & Founders podcast.

Jeremy Cabral is Co-Founder and former COO of Finder and Co-Founder of AI Search Leaders. His current work covers large language models, generative engine optimisation, autonomous workflows and agentic commerce. His background connects customer discovery with the operating decisions involved in building a business.

Australian awards at Brisbane City Hall

The Open Summit AI Awards recognise four kinds of work: frontier research, measurable business impact, organisational transformation and AI running in production with real users.

Australian entries close on 10 October 2026, with winners announced at Brisbane City Hall on 11 November 2026. Our scoring gives five points to the room and five to the judging panel. National winners progress through regional finals towards the global final in New York on 18 February 2027.

For entrants, the useful starting point is evidence of what changed: what was built, the result it produced and how that result can be supported. You can enter or nominate through our awards page. Detailed ceremony timing and access should be checked with the event programme.
