Open Summit AI Awards

Four categories

1. AI Transformation of the Year: an organisation changed by AI, evidenced through its operations before and after.
2. AI Business Impact of the Year: a measurable business result with a clear evidence trail.
3. AI in Production Award: an AI system operating for real users, with evidence of what it takes to keep it running.
4. Frontier Lab of the Year: shipped work from an AI lab or research group with demonstrable impact.

Entry and judging

Entry is free. Enter your own work or nominate someone else through the awards page. More than one category can be selected where justified. Describe the result, the before-and-after and the evidence. Nominees are contacted before publication.

Ten points decide the result: five from the room and five from the judging panel. Most points takes the award.

Published deadlines

Australian 2026 entries close Saturday 10 October 2026. National winners are scheduled to be announced at the Brisbane event on Wednesday 11 November 2026. Global entries close Monday 1 February 2027, with the published New York final date Thursday 18 February 2027.
