We offer complimentary Dietitian consultations to help you get started with Be Fit Food. These appointments can be booked online or by calling our Customer Service team. 

ADVOCACY LETTER

If you're an NDIS participant,  but don't have funding for meal preparation and delivery, our team of Accredited Practising Dietitians is here to support you. We can assess your dietary needs and provide a professional advocacy letter to help you secure funding in your NDIS plan.

NDIS PARTICIPANT ENQUIRY

If your NDIS plan is Plan-Managed, simply apply below so we can confirm your funding.



Once approved, you’ll only pay 30% of our regular meal costs, and we’ll invoice your plan manager for the remaining 70%.



If you are Self-Managed, please also submit an application. You’ll pay the full cost upfront, and we’ll send you an invoice so you can claim 70% back through your NDIS plan.



At this time we are unable to accomodate Agency- Managed participants.

Why should I try Be Fit Food?

Be Fit Food was created by a Doctor & Dietitian and the nutritionally-balanced meals are backed by science. Unlike other ready-made meal companies, we also offer complimentary support from our Dietitians so that you are getting the most out of your experience with Be Fit Food. Am I eligible for NDIS funding?

You can see whether you are eligible for home-delivered meals by looking for ‘Daily Activities’ or ‘The Preparation and Delivery of Meals’ in your NDIS plan.



If you are unsure of your eligibility, please contact your Support Coordinator or Plan Manager.  Alternatively fill in the form above and we can make an enquiry on your behalf.

Do you deliver to my area?

We currently deliver to Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and Western Australia, but are always expanding. For the latest delivery information and dates for order cut offs, click here. 

Do I get to choose my own meals?

The choice is all yours!



We provide a range of meals which cater to different dietary requirements and taste preferences including gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options.



If you have any special requirements, you are able to book a free Dietitian consultation to discuss which meals are best suited to your needs.

Am I locked in?

Definitely not.



We understand that things change and are flexible to accommodate your needs. Just place your order when ever you need.





What types of NDIS plans do you work with?

We work with three different types of NDIS care plans including self managed, plan managed and agency managed. 



If you are unsure of which plan you are on, please contact the NDIS who will be able to assist (and we can help you from there). 

How do I place my order?

To place your order under the NDIS, you first need to complete an enquiry form with some personal details about yourself and how your care plan is managed.



Then once we have confirmed funding, we will contact you with ordering instructions.  

How much does it cost?

If ready-made meals are part of your plan, NDIS will fund a portion of meals which covers meal preparation and delivery. There will still be out-of-pocket costs for you which covers the cost of the raw ingredients.



As a general guideline, the NDIS usually covers 70% of your total cost and you are eligible for the remaining 30% of the price.



Meals start from around $2.50 for approved NDIS participants.

How does payment work?

There are three different ways that NDIS customers can order with Be Fit Food and how payment is collected varies depending on which type of NDIS care plan you have. 



Self Managed: You pay the full order amount up front and Be Fit Food provides you with a receipt to make your claim to the NDIS.



Plan Managed: You pay a co-payment of about 30% the regular price and we will invoice your plan manager for the remining 70%.



Agency Managed: You pay a co-payment of about 30% of your order amount and we will take care of the rest!

Who can I contact about my NDIS plan?

Please firstly contact your Plan Manager about your care plan and it's inclusions and any special instructions about ordering.

I need an item number to check my eligibility.

To check whether you're covered for NDIS subsidised meals, look for "Assistance with the Cost and Delivery of Meals" which is item number: 01_022_0120_1_1.

To provide you with the best experience with Be Fit Food, we have ensured a range of documents are available to you including: Incident Management Policy, Complaints Management Policy and Complaints Management Form.
