THE CSIRO LIFESTYLE RANGE TM

Alongside our range of weight-loss meals and programs, we are the first NDIS Provider to have a range of meals that have been co-created with the CSIRO to work with the CSIRO Low Carb Diet.

Be Fit Food was created by a Doctor & Dietitian and the nutritionally-balanced meals are backed by science. Unlike other ready-made meal companies, we also offer complimentary support from our Dietitians so that you are getting the most out of your experience with Be Fit Food. You can book your free Dietitian consultation here.

Am I eligible for NDIS funding?

You can see whether you are eligible for home-delivered meals by looking for ‘Daily Activities’ or ‘The Preparation and Delivery of Meals’ in your NDIS plan.



If you are unsure of your eligibility, please contact your Support Coordinator. Our Customer Service team are also able to assist and can be contacted on 1300 263 257.

Do you deliver to my area?

We currently deliver to Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and Western Australia, but are always expanding. For the latest delivery information and dates for order cut offs, click here. 

Can I try Be Fit Food as a one-off?

Yes, of course!



We offer individual meals, meal bundles and one-off programs so that you can try Be Fit Food in a way that best suits you. You can also speak to our team about a recurring order if this is the solution that will help make your life easier.

Do I get to choose my own meals?

The choice is all yours!



We provide a range of meals which cater to different dietary requirements and taste preferences including gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options.



If you have any special requirements, you are able to book a free Dietitian consultation to discuss which meals are best suited to your needs.

Am I locked in?

Definitely not.



We understand that things change and are flexible to accommodate your needs.



You can make a one-off order, or arrange a recurring order which can be cancelled at any time.

What types of NDIS plans do you work with?

We work with three different types of NDIS care plans including self managed, plan managed and agency managed. 



If you are unsure of which plan you are on, please contact the NDIS who will be able to assist (and we can help you from there). 

How do I place my order?

To place your order under the NDIS, you first need to complete an enquiry form with some personal details about yourself and how your care plan is managed.



This is because the ordering process is slightly different depending on which type of care plan you have. You can fill out your enquiry form on this page.  

How much does it cost?

If ready-made meals are part of your plan, NDIS will fund a portion of meals which covers meal preparation and delivery. There will still be out-of-pocket costs for you which covers the cost of the raw ingredients.



As a general guideline, the NDIS usually covers 80% of your total cost and you are eligible for the remaining 20% of the price. Here is a pricelist to assist you with your calculations, noting that this is guide only and that prices depend on your personal care plan, and are subject to change.

How does payment work?

There are three different ways that NDIS customers can order with Be Fit Food and how payment is collected varies depending on which type of NDIS care plan you have. 



Self Managed: You pay the full order amount up front and Be Fit Food provides you with a receipt to make your claim to the NDIS.



Plan Managed: You pay the full order amount up front and we will provide you with a receipt to make your claim to the NDIS. 



Agency Managed: You pay a co-payment of about 20% of your order amount and we will take care of the rest!



For help understanding how much Be Fit Food might cost you, please refer to this pricelist and note it is subject to change. For assistance understanding which plan you are on, please contact the NDIS.

Who can I contact about my NDIS plan?

Please firstly contact your Plan Manager about your care plan and it's inclusions and any special instructions about ordering.

I need an item number to check my eligibility.

To check whether you're covered for NDIS subsidised meals, look for "Assistance with the Cost and Delivery of Meals" which is item number: 01_022_0120_1_1.

Which Be Fit Food plan will suit me?

Everyone has different dietary needs and taste preferences so what 'works' for one person might not be realistic for another. 



For this reason, we provide complimentary Dietitian consultations to help you understand which Be Fit Food solution is going to work best with your lifestyle. These over-the-phone/telehealth consultations can be booked here. 

To provide you with the best experience with Be Fit Food, we have ensured a range of documents are available to you including: Incident Management Policy, Complaints Management Policy and Complaints Management Form. If you need assistance with any of these documents, please contact our Customer Service team on 1300 263 257.
