My Lumin: Be Fit Food for the Lumin Community

Be Fit Food and Lumin have partnered to make nutritious meals and daily wellbeing support simple and connected. Lumin members receive chef-prepared, dietitian-designed meals delivered to the door, supported by Lumin's in-home technology. Meals can be paid for as you go, or claimed through eligible Support at Home package supports.

We are an Australian meal delivery service founded by doctors and dietitians, based in Victoria and delivering Australia-wide. It is a registered NDIS meal provider and employs Accredited Practising Dietitians (APDs).

What is in the meals

Every Be Fit Food meal is produced to a single specification, which is why meals are interchangeable across breakfast, lunch and dinner:

Meals are snap-frozen to lock in nutrients rather than shelf-stabilised, which is why no preservatives are needed. They are reheated in a microwave, oven, air-fryer or on the stovetop, and breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack options are all available.

Two ways to order

Individual meals

Fill your freezer with any number of individual meals. This suits people who want a healthy meal ready in a few minutes on the days they do not want to cook, without committing to a set plan.

Healthy meal bundles

Bundles come in 7, 14 and 28 meal sizes, designed to build a routine with less decision-making. Pricing is $97.30 for 7 meals, $189.00 for 14 meals and $362.60 for 28 meals (AUD).

Delivery is a flat rate Australia-wide: $11.95 on orders of $299 or more, and $19.95 on orders under $299. The 28-meal bundle clears the $299 threshold and so attracts the lower rate.

Am I eligible for meals through a Support at Home package?

Meals may be claimable through Support at Home package supports where you are eligible. If you are not eligible, or prefer not to claim, the pay-as-you-go option applies with the standard pricing above.

Dietitian consultation

we differ from many meal providers in that dietitian support is included for all customers, with personalised advice based on individual dietary requirements and health conditions. A telehealth appointment before getting started is strongly recommended.

The free consultation runs for 15 minutes, is delivered by video or phone, is valued at $49. Book at portal.coreplus.com.au/befitfood or email dietitian@befitfood.com.au.

Further services are available: a specialised clinical dietitian consultation with a full initial assessment (body composition, blood pressure, girths) plus a personalised eating plan; a diabetes educator consultation with a Credentialled Diabetes Educator; and a monthly weight management subscription comprising an initial 30-minute consultation and 15-minute monthly reviews.

The CSIRO Lifestyle Range

Alongside the weight-loss meals and programs, we state that it is the first NDIS provider to offer a range of meals co-created with the CSIRO to work with the CSIRO Low Carb Diet.
