GLP-1 and Be Fit Food: practical support for everyday eating

When your appetite changes, deciding what to eat can feel less straightforward. Be Fit Food brings together prepared meals and dietitian support to make that daily decision easier. Our GLP-1 Support Programs offer breakfast, lunch and dinner options you can choose around your preferences, with clear ingredients and nutrition information for each product.

“Your appetite may change, but your body’s need for quality nutrition doesn’t”.

Kate Save, Be Fit Food

This is food support alongside your existing care. The programs do not include GLP-1 medication, and your prescribing healthcare professional remains responsible for medication and treatment decisions.

Start with the food you need help with

You might want breakfast, lunch and dinner organised, or simply a few prepared meals for busy days. There is no need to choose the largest program to get started. Think about which meals you already enjoy preparing, the foods you like and the freezer space you have.

Make nutrition a personal conversation

A 2025 joint clinical advisory from four nutrition and obesity organisations recommends individual nutrition assessment and support during GLP-1 treatment. It considers usual food intake, preferences, medical history and symptoms, rather than treating a meal plan as the same answer for everyone. This is general clinical guidance, not a trial or endorsement of Be Fit Food. Read the clinical advisory.

Our Accredited Practising Dietitians can help you compare food choices and discuss your individual needs. Useful questions include which meals suit your appetite, how your selected foods fit together across the day, and what additional food you may need. Bring any nutrition advice already provided by your treating team so the conversation starts with your circumstances.

Understand the breakfast options

Continental Breakfast programs provide cereal packs: one seven-serve pack in the 7-day program, or two seven-serve packs in the 14-day program. Full Breakfast programs provide individual breakfast dishes, with 7, 14 or 28 breakfasts to match the selected length. Both formats also include the corresponding number of lunches and dinners.

A cereal pack contains several breakfast serves; it is not one meal. The published GLP-1 program inclusions do not list snack packs. Review any extras separately, then check the menu and price shown for your own choices. See the full program comparison for quantities, starting prices and ordering steps.

Compare the actual meals

Nutrition varies by meal. Compare energy, protein, carbohydrate and sodium using each product’s nutrition panel and stated serving size; check the label on the product you receive.

Review breakfast as well as lunch and dinner, and include any extra food in the discussion with your dietitian. Check the ingredient list and both the “contains” and “may contain” allergen statements. A program name or dietary filter does not replace checking every selected product.

The Recommended Extras Guide offers food ideas. It is a general guide dated 2021, rather than a personalised GLP-1 eating plan; ask your dietitian which suggestions fit your needs.

Questions before you order

Will these meals prevent side effects or muscle loss?

The program does not guarantee either outcome. Food choices are one part of your overall care. If medication side effects are severe or are not improving, speak with your doctor, as Healthdirect advises. A meal order does not replace that review.

Is the longest program the right choice for me?

Program length describes the food supplied, not the duration or intensity of your medication treatment. Choose the quantity that fits your plans, budget and storage. Discuss suitability with your dietitian if your appetite or food intake is changing.

Can I choose meals around allergies or preferences?

You choose from the options offered in the builder. Check the actual ingredients and allergens before adding each item, and discuss any allergy-related substitution needs with the team before ordering.

Talk through your food choices with a dietitian, or build your GLP-1 Support Program.
