How to Continue to Lose Weight While Enjoying the Party Season
by Be Fit Food on Dec 06, 2019It's true! You can still enjoy the party season AND lose weight. If you eat 3 meals a day from now until Christmas that’s 56 meals - it’s unlikely that you will undo all your hard work so far.
If you are contemplating starting a Be Fit Food program, now is as good a time as ever. Here’s some reasons why:
Starting the Be Rapid Program during the Christmas and New Year period
You may feel completely out of routine in the next 4 weeks leading up to Christmas, with extra curricular activities after work and on the weekends, late night shopping, kids school concerts, work break-ups and celebrations, not to mention school holidays! With all of this going on you can still lose weight just by simply following the Be Rapid program.
With all of your meals ready-made and delivered to you, you'll have one less thing to worry about during the busiest time of year with the added bonus of losing up to 5 kilos in two weeks before you put on your Christmas outfit.
How to stick to the Be Rapid Program During the Christmas and New Year period
All your meals are provided to you and are designed to give you approximately 800 calories a day so all you need to do is... eat the food!
If you have an event during this time, simply plan ahead for continued results:
Christmas work break-up:
This might involve alcohol and food. Go as the designated driver, which will prevent you from drinking excessive amounts of alcohol. Choose an entree sized meal or a salad with leafy greens, low starch vegetables and a source of protein.
Late night shopping:
Take your BFF soup in a take away thermos before you go. That way if you happen to be Christmas shopping at dinner time you have your BFF meal ready to go
Friends/family Christmas at their house:
Take a healthy platter or salad so you know you can have this as your meal without blowing out.
Be Maintenance Program
If you really can’t see yourself following a program, try our new Be Maintenance program, where two days of the week you will be provided with 800 calories and the remaining days you can stick to normal healthy eating. This style of intermittent fasting is an effective alternative to weight loss as a daily reduced energy diet. It has also been shown to be useful for weight maintenance, which is certainly helpful during the silly season.
